Today, I am hopping along with some of my fellow Luv2Stamp friends using new catalog product suites. I am showcasing the new Come Sail Away bundle. It’s nautical and absolutely stunning!

This new Suite features a new Stamp/Die bundle, Designer Series Papers, Two Tone Bakers Twine, metal Trinkets, an Embossing Folder and Memories and More cards. It is chock-full of serenely gorgeous colors and images. I really loved working with these products.

My project for today is a lovely Thank You card that is perfect for anyone. One of my favorite pieces in the Smooth Sailing dies set is the stitched banner. Frankly, stitch anything and I’m going to LOVE it!

I used Sahara Sand for my card base, then added a piece of Night of Navy and a piece of the striped DSP. I took the two layers and off-set them just a bit. Before adhering them together, I wound the gorgeous Sahara Sand/Night of Navy Bakers Twine around them.

I used my Aqua Painter and Balmy Blue ink to create a light wash on the watercolor paper to pull all of the colors together. While that dried, I stamped my sentiment from the Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede and die cut it with the stitched banner. I also stamped my lighthouse in Night of Navy, die cut that out and the helm out of Soft Suede. I wanted something a little darker than Sahara Sand and the Suede was a perfect addition.

Once my Balmy Blue piece was dry I inked up the bird trio in Soft Suede and stamped off on scratch paper before stamping it onto my watercolor paper. I wanted a softer look for the birds – so they would almost blend in to the backdrop. Be sure the watercolor panel is dry before stamping the birds or the ink may run a bit.

I layered the rest of my pieces onto the card and woila!

Thank you for hopping along with us today! I hope you love all of the projects you see!
